Edward H. Tomaszewski

Program Manager

Edward Tomaszewski is a Program Manager for Northwell Health “Crisis Management Incident Response Team”. In this role, he is responsible for delivering instruction for OSHA related courses. Additionally, Mr. Tomaszewski is a member of the “Crisis Management Incident Response Team” and provides Subject Matter Expert knowledge to the Northwell Health Team and community partners.

Prior to joining Northwell Health, Mr. Tomaszewski served as a Firefighter/Hazardous Materials/CBRNE Specialist for the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). Additionally, he has over 47 years of experience in the Fire Service, both volunteer and career.

Mr. Tomaszewski’s wealth of knowledge has served him well as a Lead Instructor for the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC). Under the NDPC, he delivers courses for the Louisiana State University (LSU), National Center for Biomedical Research and Training, (NCBRT), and Academy of Counter Terrorist Education. Over the last 25 years at NCBRT, he has instructed a range of course including, “Emergency Response to Domestic Biological Incidents”; Public Safety CBRNE Response-Sampling Techniques and Guidelines”; Tactical Operations for a CBRNE Incident” and “Integrated Response to a CBRNE Incident”.

Mr. Tomaszewski’s knowledge is also provided as an Observer Controller/Trainer (OC/T ) for the U.S .Army Chemical Companies for a Homeland Defense Mission.
