Our Fleet

The Crisis Management Fleet

The Crisis Management fleet is comprised of a variety of vehicles that support the day-to-day operations of our team. Our fleet includes our hazardous material response vehicles, mobile medical units, day-to-day response vehicles, and golf carts capable of transporting patients experiencing medical emergencies.

HM1

HM1 is stocked with equipment that is capable of supporting the Crisis Management’s all hazard response for all Northwell Health facilities and includes:

  • Level A,B,C protective suits and CBRNE Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

  • Detection, Identification, and Sampling instruments for response to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear events

  • Power tools to assist in securing facilities that have sustained damage that need to be secured

  • Decontamination equipment

  • Medical Equipment

HM2

HM2, the special response unit, holds equipment for mass decontamination events that may occur at a Northwell Facility and includes:

  • A state-of-the-art weather stations

  • Team Member personal protective equipment

  • Command Post Workstation

  • Team dress out area

  • Rehabilitation equipment

MM1 & MM2

Mobile Medical 1 and Mobile Medical 2 are used to support our mobile medical deployments for community public health events. These vehicles are equipped with:

  • Two exam rooms

  • Intake Area

  • ADA Compliant restroom

  • Standard medical exam room supplies
