TtT: Hospital Emergency Response Training  (HERT)

HERT Train the Trainer prepares qualified healthcare and emergency responders to teach the foundational HERT curriculum at their local facilities, focusing on lesson plan preparation, presentation techniques, and practical skills testing.

The course objectives cover:

• PPE Management: Proper wear, standard testing, and safe removal (doffing) of personal protective equipment.

• Decontamination Operations: Setting up and executing patient decontamination corridors.

• Mass Triage: Implementing quick victim triage systems within a hospital's footprint.

• Site Management: Selecting and operating a functional Emergency Treatment Area.

• Team Leadership: Structuring and directing local Hospital Emergency Response Teams
