PER-370: Detecting Contamination Hospital First Receiver

Course Overview:

This one-day training course is designed for Emergency Medical Services and Medical Health Care providers who have awareness level training on radiological/nuclear emergency response. This course will provide further understanding into the EMS response component to radiological/nuclear accidents and Radiological/Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) incidents.
The course will continue to prepare providers with additional response knowledge related to radiological/nuclear threats, protective measures for both patient and care giver, and basic post incident recovery processes.

Additional Information:
To receive credit for this FEMA course, attendees must list a Student Identification (SID) Number on the registration form that will be issued on the first day of class. A SID number can be obtained at the following link: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid
